Rossendale Ramblers Pathway Fixers
Rossendale Ramblers have successfully started a pathway improvement programme within Rossendale. To date we have successfully improved/repaired 15 stiles and undertaken 2 pathway clearances with our team of 11 volunteers providing the “peoplepower” These repairs have been funded by Rossendale Ramblers out of monies donated by our members, our sponsors, and several generous individuals.
With the nice weather approaching we would like to increase our activities and are looking for additional volunteers to join the team, if you are interested please contact David Clegg at davidjclegg53@gmail.com No skills required, just energy and enthusiasm.
Our funds are finite, so there is a limit to what we can do. There is always scope for additional donations to our footpath maintenance fund, so if you would like to improve the local footpath network by making a donation, then please contact Roger, our Treasurer, at rogerpegum@gmail.com
If anyone would like to be included in the path clearance team could you please send your contact details to Malcolm (07984610569).The time involved would be around 3 hrs with a team of about 4 people weather and wasps permitting.This would be on an ad hock basis with as much notice given as possible
