Boxing Day and beyond

As Danny put it when fixing a previous stile in pouring rain “There wasn’t anything on the telly”, perhaps the same was true on Boxing Day – or, more likely – it was an opportunity to work off the excesses of Christmas Day.  Whatever it was, he and his son George – ‘a new apprentice’ – ventured out to fix a stile above Cowpe Village at SD 83776 21262 – pic below:             

         

Not content with that, on Saturday 17th January, when a lot of us were enjoying a pub walk and meal, Martyn and Danny completed the second phase of a double stile repair at Turn Village – featured pic.  Wonderful work and dedication once again, at which we can only marvel.
