Ramblers Holiday 2024 – 20th-24th May

23 enjoyed this year’s holiday at HF Dovedale, where the facilities were well geared to our needs.  So, Jean and Judy (in consultation with others) have decided to go with HF holidays again. For next year we’ve chosen Dolgellau in Snowdonia, and have a hold on rooms for 20-24 May 2024 (4 nights).  As before, food is plentiful and prices include breakfast, picnic lunch (superb!) and 3 course dinner, plus cream tea on arrival. The walking in the area looks fantastic which includes access to mountains and the coast (using cars required for latter). After last year we aim to include some optional shorter/easier walks (6-8 miles) as well, providing we can get willing leaders. Car parking is free at the house.

This is a much smaller house than last year (don’t worry, there’s still a bar!) with capacity for only 39. This means there are only 7 single rooms (3 classic, 4 premium) available, on a first come first served basis, so please consider sharing a twin room.  There is no problem with twin or double rooms, and all rooms are ensuite.  The cost is £495pp for classic twin/double rooms, £575pp for premium twin/double rooms, £495 for a classic single and £575 for a premium single.  This may reduce slightly depending on the number of people going. A deposit of £75pp will be required by 10 July.
